Yagao is allowed to attend Worlds 2024 with LNG Esports

On September 12, the professional League of Legends community was unexpectedly with the information Edward Gaming (EDG) sued the mid lane Scout to violate the contract and require a ban on exit with the LNG player. Even the problem between the two sides took place 2 years ago, when Scout was still a world champion.

Currently, EDG is looking for Scout compensation to withdraw a lawsuit and remove the exit restricting order, however, Scout and the management company have refused this request. Because Scout is currently unable to go abroad, LNG will not have enough members to attend the World Final. The team started looking for a mid -alternative and finally, Yagao was the most rumored player.

Finally, on September 19, Riot Games officially announced this issue. The Publisher of League of Legends has confirmed that the scout is restricted from the exit and has allowed LNG to borrow Yagao instead.

At the same time, Riot confirmed that if the problem of Scout was solved, this player had to attend the Yagao replacement tournament. The teams will be informed at least 72 hours before LNG's next match.

LNG won the right to attend Worlds 2024 when passing the regional qualifying round of the LPL tournament. The role of seed No. 3 LPL helps LNG directly in the Swiss round as Pool 3, the chances will be drawn to the Pool 2 teams including Geng, Fnatic and Liquid team.
