Why is an eSports speeding?

Over the past decade, we have successfully built the Esports ecosystem for League of Legends. Obviously, everyone expects that we will build new esports arrays for our other games, however, in fact it is not so simple. Building an esports segment for the speed is a decision to spend a lot of time and consideration. Therefore, I believe that it is very important to explain why we come to such a decision.

One of the key roles of the esports array for any game is to create inspiration. The core idea here is, the player will look at the professional players and think that “we can do the same” – that is also the reason why we all admire the professional athletes. Seeing a person doing something wonderful will evoke in us the passion for himself. We do not think the inspiration will automatically arise when the player speeds to see the professional players in Lo Lo Lo League, the first reason is because these are two games that are not the same, and the second is because most of the players use their mobile phones as the main player.

In addition, for us, the speed player is as important as the LoL PC player. We are building a new Esports ecosystem with sustainable and independent survival with the League of Esports League of PC. We learn as well as take advantage of a lot from the larger League of Legends ecosystem, but for our Riot Games, the Esports speed is not a stepping stone that leads to Esports League of Legends. Becoming a “speed world champion” must also bring a wonderful and prestigious feeling like becoming a “world champion of League of Legends”. In the speed of war, victory is the most important goal.

We are noticing special interest in eSports. Since we announced the game in 2019, Influencer, professional teams, partners and media have always wanted to know if we are building an eSports to speed up or not and how they can participate. The failure to build this segment will be like a cold water that extinguishes the flame of competitive competition currently burning in the community.

We are devoting our best to the Esports.

How will we do this?

It is important to emphasize that there is a significant difference in the way of looking at eSports on mobile worldwide. In most Asian countries, eSports on mobile is very popular and belongs to one of the most successful areas of Esports, however, we will not just stop there.

We ambitious to turn the battle speed to become the first global eSports subject, the subject will appear everywhere around the globe. We do this by significantly investing in western areas, such as America, Europe and the Middle East. At the same time, we also bring global tournaments to the rarely known places around the world. Of course, like the game itself, we will grow rapidly and positively in the key markets of mobile segments like China and Southeast Asia, where the demand is extremely high.

After all, the essence of creating eSports on the global mobile mobile is the coverage to places where players. We do not see eSports on mobile as something for the future, but also for the present. And we are confident that with long -term dedication, we will be able to build a sport for many generations later.

Riot Games began to focus his efforts into the speed of professionalism.

When referring to how to build sports, there are 2 things to consider: Esports in the form of viewing experience and eSports in the form of participating experience. In Riot Games, we expect that all our games are interested in playing but in some games, watching will be better than other games.

This is also true for traditional sports. We believe that the speed is a game that brings the thrilling moments of a sport that makes it interesting to watch. The combined combination of the overwhelming combat, crazy Baron robbery, unimaginable thrust – all are interesting things that make Chien Chien an experience to see if there is a high pace, intense and entertainment.

We began to focus our efforts at the speed of professionalism. One of the things we have learned over the years is, to succeed, a sport that needs stability. Organizations need to believe that there will be many tournaments to participate and that the Esports battle is built to survive for a long time.

This allows them to put their efforts and time to build strong teams and the final destination is to make the career of professional players attractive as well as promising. That is our goal. Stable is the key to building professionalism. Finally, we will also invest in the basic gameplay, however, we want to make sure our players will enjoy the competitive competition experience at the peak level.

We are also trying to improve the Esports viewing experience on the phone. Currently, eSports is the content that has not been optimized to view on small screens, even if over 40% of viewers are currently using these devices. Building a great viewing experience on mobile plays an important role for the speed because most of the audience of Chien Chien use personal mobile phones as the main (or unique) device.

That is, they will not only play games but also watch sports on their phones. If eSports on mobile can transform the entire eSports industry, we want to ensure that the viewing experience will be upgraded accordingly.
