Wolves Esports, an electronic sports organization played by the club in the Premier League – Wolverhampton Wanderers, announced that it will join China Valorant. According to the Weibo page, Wolves Esports is looking for professional players to build a new squad.

Currently, Wolves Esports is also owned by Fosun Company (China), with teams playing in Rainbow Six: Siege, Honor of Kings and Call of Duty: Mobile. However, Fosun also owns Valorant team, Evil Geniuses (North America), World Champion 2023.
Fosun currently holds Evil Geniuses's minority shares when signing cooperation in 2021. The brand of Wolves Esports has also appeared on EG's uniforms during the past 2 years. This means that the conflict of potential interests can happen if Wolves Esports meet Evil Geniuses in Valorant's international tournaments.
Although the conflict may occur, the Wolves Esports ratio against Evil Geniuses in Valorant's international tournaments is very low. Currently, Riot Games has not revealed any organization will participate in the Chinese VCT franchise. Accordingly, Wolves Esports may not be selected by Riot Games.
Without the qualifying round, Wolves Esports will have to attend the second division, the Challengers League. Here, teams will not have the opportunity to participate in international tournaments and Wolves Esports will not cause conflicts for Evil Geniuses.
Riot Games has issued regulations banned from ownership of more than 1 team in the same tournament of League of Legends. Therefore, Riot Games will do the same thing with Valorant.
