The VCT Pacific Stage 1 tournament will take place from 22/3-11 May in Korea, gathering 12 teams to attend. In particular, 10 teams participating in the franchise system and 2 teams from Ascension promoted as NS Redforce (Sin Prisa Gaming renamed) and Boom Esports.
About the formula of Stage 1, 12 teams participating in VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 are divided into two tables:
– Alpha table: Drx, Geng, Detonation Focusme, Paper Rex, Global Esports, Boom Esports
– Omega table: T1, Talon, Nongshim Redforce, Rex Regum Qeon, Zeta Division, Team Secret.
The teams in the group stage will take turns competing in the round 1, the 4 teams win the highest score will enter the play-off round. Here, the two 4th teams of the two tables will come down from the losing branch, the 2nd class Alpha team will play the third team of the Omega table and vice versa. Finally, the first team teams were straight to the semi -finals and just need to win tickets to the winnings.
The play -off round of the tournament will compete in the defeat – with all matches that are delineated in the results by the BO3, except for the Losing Final and the final of the BO5. Finally, the Top 3 of VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 will represent the Asia -Pacific region to attend Masters Toronto 2025.
After 4 weeks of competition, the group stage VCT Pacific Stage 1 identified 5 teams to win the play-off round, Boom Esports, Drx, Geng, Rex Reum Qeon and T1. Currently in the Omega table, the three Zeta Division, NS Redforce and Talon teams will compete for the last two tickets, while the Paper Rex will face Global Esports directly, the winning team will win the last ticket of the Alpha board.
