Less than a week after the opening event of LCK Season Opening on January 10, the 2025 season of the Korean League of Legends will officially start. Unlike recent seasons, LCK from this year will play 3 seasons with 3 international events. The first event of 2025 LCK Cup will start on January 15.
Week 1 schedule of 2025 LCK Cup:
– Fourth: Brion – DRX; DNSECS – NS Redforce
– Thursday: BNK Fearx – KT Rolster; The other dplus – t1
– Friday: Geng – Hanwha Life Esports; NS Redforce – Brion
– Saturday: Kia Dplus – Freoses; Drx – T1
– Sunday: KT Rolster – Hanwha Life Esports; BNK Fearx – Geng
The focus of the first week of competition appeared on Thursday when the other Dplus confronted T1. Shortly thereafter on Friday, the reigning champion of the Hanwha Life Esports tournament met the runner -up of the tournament Geng. By the end of the week, Hanwha Life Esports will continue to meet another strong team, KT Rolster.
The broadcast time of 2025 LCK Cup is still the same as the seasons before matches of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) starting at 15h (Vietnam time). Meanwhile, weekend matches (Saturday, Sunday) start at 13h (Vietnam time).
2025 LCK Cup will take place in a total of 6 weeks, the first 3 weeks is the group stage and 3 weeks later is the play-off. The final of the tournament will take place on February 23, with the tournament champion who will attend the First Stand tournament held on the Korean home field in March.
