Shogun started playing since the 2022 season in SGB shirt. Although no title has not been won, Shogun has had 2 international competitions at MSI 2022 and World Champion 2022.
Ahead of the 2024 season, Vikings Esports bought Saigon Buffalo's competition at VCS. On January 1, Vikings Esports confirmed Le “Sofm” Quang Duy officially became the co -ownership of the team. Shortly thereafter, Vikings Esports continued to announce the duo of coach Huynh “Hankay” Tan Dat and analyst Phan “Suga” Ba Phuc officially joined the team.
In the next 2024 season, Vikings Esports will officially replace Saigon Buffalo at VCS. In the past, Vikings Esports used to participate in VCS Spring 2015 and VCS Summer 2018. However, after being unable to relegation, Vikings Esports disappeared from the League of Legends Vietnam since the VCS Spring 2019.
