On its homepage, the version1 has just announced signing a contract with the Just Breathe team from the Changers game to establish the Women's Version's team. Before joining Version1, members of Just Breathe used to play at Valorant events for women such as Changers Game or Sakura Cup for the 4th time.
“Our goal is to become Valorant's leading women's team and I know that the result will come soon. When I first started playing together, the whole team wanted to have good achievements and eligible to attend VCT Game Changers. In the end, we did it. Along and practice at Gaming House, we will quickly progress,” MilkyWay Captain shared.
VersionX is one of the few teams that own all female members. The squad of the upcoming tournament includes Kianra captain “Milkyway” Makua, Naomi “Naomi” Sauvola, Rachel “Rushhh” Lynn Hang, Katherine “Karra” Lee and Natalia “Natty” Jackson. In particular, Milkyway and Naomi are two former players of Dignitas and Counter Logic Gaming Red.
In mid -August, Riot Games announced the game Changers Series 3 from 24 to 26 September. This is a qualifying tournament for teams to have the opportunity to enter the big tournament, and compete with other leading women's teams. Before VersionX, Version1 also resonated in the North American Valorant community.
Version1 has participated in Masters 2 in Iceland and reached the third round of the losing branch before suffering from 0-2 defeat to Fnatic of the European region. Entering the stage 3, Version1 was unable to attend the Masters 3 but still eligible to participate in Last Chance Na to compete with Valorant Champions by the end of this year.
