Valorant Masters Shanghai 2024 will start at the VCT CN Studio, with the final match at the largest place in VCT history: Mercedes-Benz arena.
The teams attend
The tournament promises to bring extremely attractive confrontations and more fierce competition than ever. The 12 strongest teams around the world will clash in a tactical competition, skills and the will to fight.
These are the best teams from VCT phase 1 – also the top three names from each international tournament. Above all, Masters Shanghai 2024 is not only a battle for glory, but also an important stepping stone towards the highest goal: Becoming the world champion Valorant 2024.
Competition format
Masters Shanghai will be divided into 2 phases: Swiss Stage and Playoffs.
The starting point of the teams will vary. A few excellent teams – Stage 1 champions of each tournament – will be rewarded for their spectacular performance with a rare ticket to help them go straight to the playoffs. The remaining 8 teams will have to prove the power in Swiss Stage.
Swiss Stage (May 23 – June 3)
The teams will be arranged in the first 4 pairs of matches in Swiss Stage in the form of random draw. To step out of Swiss Stage, the teams will need to win 2 wins before losing 2 matches. All matches will be able to stay awake bo3.
Playoffs (May 30 – June 9)
4 teams overcoming the Swiss Stage will participate in Playoffs. Here, the leading teams in the international tournament will compete with the strongest teams from the previous round in the formula of the winning – branch to lose to the final final. This period includes the Battle Battles to the Losing Final and the final finals.
