Valorant Champions: Acend player was threatened by Brazilian fans

Sharing on Twitter, Zeek said: “Indeed Acend does not deserve to win in such a way, but that is not our decision. It is difficult to understand when the referees do not resolve the incident right in the match. I will lock the message. Therefore, anyone who intends to text me to kill me, you can comment here.”

After Asuna, Zeek was the next person who was threatened by the Brazilian Valorant community

Earlier, in area A of Breeze, Jonathan “Jhow” Gloria used camera skills (E) of CYPHER agent in the hidden corner and the non -discovered Acend players. As a result, Jhow collected a large amount of information about the opponent's position to his teammates. However, Riot Games determined that Jhow had violated the law and loses the Keyd Stars.

Although there is nothing to do with the above decision, the members of Acend still suffer a wave of indignation from the Brazilian Valorant community. Zeek personally received a series of threats to kill. This is not the first time the professional Valorant players have been threatened by Brazilian fans when attending an international tournament.

The first “victims” were Michael “Dap” Gulino and Jared “Zombs” Gutlin of Sentinels at Masters 2. Next was Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk of 100 Thieves at Masters 3. However, Riot Games has rethinked the case of Keyd Stars.

Zeek and his teammates are waiting for the final decision from Riot Games

On the homepage, the Organizing Committee of Valorant Champions announced that it would postpone the Acend – Team EnVy match to discuss the Keyd Stars sanction. Perhaps Riot Games will offer 2 options for the third match between Acend – Keyd Stars or Keyd Stars is the next team to enter the Branch in Group A.
