Valorant Champions Tour 2021 is going to the final stage and the teams are preparing to win tickets to the Masters 3 in Berlin, Germany. In Southeast Asia, all eyes will focus on the X10 Esports, the team that has appeared at Masters 2 – Reykjavik, and is considered the leading candidate for the championship.
X10 will compete with the remaining 15 teams from Malaysia/Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Taipei China and 3 representatives of Vietnam including Team Big Baam, Cerberus Esports and EGO. Today (August 10), the Organizing Committee also officially announced the Sea Play-off prize structure and the total value of this prize up to $ 100,000.
In particular, the two teams and runner -up each receives $ 25,000 and 15,000 USD respectively, along with two tickets to attend Masters 3 – Berlin. The third team receives $ 10,000 and the 4th team will receive $ 8,000. The 5 and 6 rankings own 6,000 USD and teams 7 – 8, 9 – 12, 13 – 16 respectively receive 5,000 USD, 3,000 USD and 2,000 USD respectively.
In addition to bonuses and attending Masters 2, high rankings will also help teams get accumulated points to win tickets to Worlds at the end of the year. Because, even if it is not possible to take the throne at the SEA Play-off, the cumulative point is the basis for Southeast Asian teams to be eligible to participate in the “ticket” competition after the Masters' stage ends.
Sea Play-off Stage 3 will take place within 10 days from 12 to 22/8. 16 teams were divided into 4 tables, and competed in BO2 format. The 8 strongest teams in the group stage will enter the knockout round to continue playing with the Winning – Branch Bank (BO3) to choose the two most worthy names representing Southeast Asia to attend Masters 3.
