According to the official announcement of Riot Games, the three LCS, LLA tournaments (South America) and CBLOL (Brazil) will form a unified region of America (America). Along with the APAC area also merged next year, professional League of Legends will now have 5 large areas including LCK (Korea), LPL (China), LEC (Middle East, North Africa and Europe), Americas (America) and APAC (Asia -Pacific).

In addition to consolidation, the Americas will also appear many new changes. Accordingly, in 2025 there will be 3 tournaments in the seasons, the possibility of winter, spring and summer, similar to the LEC area. In addition, the American tournament is divided into two groups, North America and South America to play separately, before playing directly to compete in international competition.
Regarding the venue, North America will play at Riot Games Arena, Los Angeles, USA. Meanwhile, the South American tournament is located at CBLOL Arena, São Paulo, Brazil. Direct events will also be held twice a year to select representatives to participate in the international tournament as well as seed capacity at MID-SEASON INVITAL (MSI) or World Championship (Worlds).

In addition, another notable change next year is that the first season of the American tournament will be applied Fearless Draft format. This is a formula that has been applied at LPL, whereby the champions selected in the previous game will not be used in the next game, to game 5, this banned limit will be removed and the teams will be selected as usual. At the end of the two seasons, teams from North and South America will play to find the first season champion (Split 1).
However, by the second season of the year, the teams will return to the same format as before. This forces the teams to constantly change to respond to the current tactical situation. This season, the teams will play in the region and the two teams from the two areas will win the right to attend the MSI 2025. By the third season, the teams will be able to play live, find the best teams to attend the last inter -regional tournament to compete in three -way to Worlds.

In the end, both regions continued to maintain the second -class tournament system like before. However, this time, the second team will have the opportunity to play with the visitors of the regional tournament to compete for the highest level of competition.
Unlike before when the entire tournament was part of the franchise system, the teams now only in the Academy can still overcome and play officially at the highest level and can compete internationally. However, the information about the detailed schedule as well as the competitions will be published in the near future.
