The players in the Oceania will be counted as PCS in the 2023 season

The players in the Oceania will be considered as the internal player of the Pacific Championship since the beginning of the League of Legends 2023. This has been confirmed by Riot Games recently, in order to create many opportunities for Pro-Player from Australia or New Zealand. Therefore, since 2023, all players from Oceania will be included in the list of “PCS's exclusive players”.

For players in other countries or regions, this information seems unfair to them because the players in the Oceania have enjoyed too many benefits from the PCS area. However, the confirmation of PCS's inner soldiers is not so simple when the players with nationality in the countries of the Oceania have to choose their own path.

For Pro-Player who are or have participated in teams in North America, they must make a decision to see which continent they will play before the upcoming season to be included in the confirmation list. It can be said that this policy is a thousand -year opportunity for the players because this action of Riot Games is to minimize the interruption of players when they have to change the continuous competition area & the teams also want to build a strong squad.

At the end of 2022, all players signed a contract with an LCS or LCS Academy at any time (including those who have signed between this notice and at the end of 2022) will have to make a choice to see if they will become the inner army of the LCS or PCS area.
