The composition of the Vietnam League of Legends team attended ASIAD 19 including 6 athletes Tran “Kiaya” Duy Sang – the top lane, Do “Levi” Duy Khanh – go to the forest, Dang “Kati” Thanh Phe, Le “Glory” Ngoc Vinh – mid lane, Tran “Artemis” Quoc Hung – Gunner, Tran “Bie” Duc Hieu – Support. Leading the recruitment of League of Vietnam is the head coach Le “Sofm” Quang Duy.
However, the Vietnam League of Legends teams to Korea to attend the friendly tournament will not have the service of Bie support. The reason that Bie is absent is to have health problems. In the last VCS 2023 final, Bie did not play and was replaced by Nguyen “CBL” Vo Thanh Luan.
Currently, Bie is still in the process of recovery. Accordingly, Kati will replace Bie in the support position in the friendly match against Korean League of Legends.
The friendly tournament of the National Team-League of Legends held at IBEX Studio (Gwangmyeong City, Kyunngi-Do Province, South Korea) with the participation of 3 teams from Vietnam, Korea and Taipei China.
Kespa organizes the tournament to create favorable conditions for countries and territories to attend the event to have the opportunity to rub, thereby assess the capacity, improve skills and prepare for ASIAD 19 and contribute to promoting culture and regional cooperation. The event marked the first time Vietnam Electronic Sports participated in the international friendly tournament.
