AIC (Arena of Valor International Champion) 2021the largest international tournament of the Mobile Union will officially start from November 27. The 14 best teams in the world, from 8 areas will compete with a total bonus of up to 1 million USD, equivalent to 23 billion VND. The champion will become the owner of 9.2 billion dong of bonuses.

At AIC 2021, 14 teams were divided into 2 Group A and B. Tan Vuong The Arena of Fame Saigon Phantom and the AIC 2019 champion of Team Flash are located in Group B. In addition to the two representatives of Vietnam, this group also has the presence of Hong Kong Attitude, One Team (all Taipei China), Valencia CF Esports (Thai LAP), Archangel (Indonesia) and UnderanK (MSP – Malaysia, Singapore).
The remaining representative of Vietnam, V Gaming is located in Group A. Quang Hai and his teammates will have to encounter the defending champion AWC DTAC Talon, Buriram United Esports (both Thailand), defending champion AIC Mad Team (Taipei China), Team Olympus (Korea), Sports (Japan) and All Gamers (China).
In theory, passing the group stage is not too difficult for all 3 representatives of Vietnam. However, the ranking at the end of the group stage will also be what the teams need to consider, thereby having a more favorable journey in the knockout stage.
AIC competition format
14 teams are divided into 2 tables A and B, competing in a circle of 1 BO2 with the international ban on international selection. In particular, 1 2-0 victory will be calculated 3 points, 1-1 with 1 point and a loss of 0-2 without any points. 4 teams with the highest score each table will enter the quarterfinals.
From the quarterfinals, AIC 2021 will apply the winning branch format – the branch lost Bo5. 4 teams that fail in the quarterfinals will meet in the quarterfinals of the losing branch, competing B05. With 4 teams winning in the quarterfinals, they will meet in the quarterfinals of the Thang branch, competing in Bo7 until the semi -finals and finals.
