Summer Super Cup 2021 – The first official international tournament of League of Legends: The speed for the strongest teams in Southeast Asia, Taipei China and Hong Kong will officially take place in June.
According to the draw results, the champion of the Vietnam region, SBTC Esports, will be in Group A with EVOS (Thailand), Team Secret (Philippines) and QWQ (Hong Kong). Meanwhile, Cerberus is in Group C with One Team (Taipei China), Onic Esports (Indonesia) and Impunity (Singapore).
The Summer Super Cup 2021 schedule will be divided into 2 stages:
– The group stage takes place from June 19 to June 22.
– The play -off round takes place from June 25 to June 27.
• Participants: 16 teams are champions and runner -ups Icon Series of 8 countries.
– Vietnam: SBTC Esports and Cerberus Esports.
– Philippines: Amihan Esports and Team Secret.
– Indonesia: Onic Esports and Bigetron Infinity.
– Thailand: EVOS Esports and Buriram United Esports.
– Malaysia: Berjaya Dragons and Geek FAM.
– Singapore: Alliance and Impunity.
– Hong Kong: MVP and QWQ.
– Taipei China: One Team and Flash Wolves.
• Competition format
– 16 teams will be randomly drawn divided into 4 groups, each of 4 teams. The teams in the same country will not lie in the same table.
– The group formula: Bo1 – Circle 2 turns. Top 3 each group will continue to the play-off round.
– After the end of the group stage, the first team each group will be in the second round of the playoffs and the random draw.
– Second-class and third-class teams on each table will play in the first round of the play-off and are divided in a set position in the second-class pairs.
– Teams of the same country will not meet in the first round of play-off. In the case of the same country, the teams will be changed to other matches.
– Play-off round format: Bo5 live type.
• Prize structure:
– Championship: 25,000 USD
– Runner -up: 19,000 USD
– Grade 3: 14,500 USD
– Grade 4: 11,500 USD
– Grade 5–8: 8,500 USD
– Grade 9–12: 6,500 USD
– Grade 13–16: 5,000 USD
