The VCT Pacific Stage 1 tournament will take place from 22/3-11 May in Korea, gathering 12 teams to attend. 12 teams participating in VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 are divided into two tables:
– Alpha table: Drx, Geng, Detonation Focusme, Paper Rex, Global Esports, Boom Esports
– Omega table: T1, Talon, Nongshim Redforce, Rex Regum Qeon, Zeta Division, Team Secret.
In the Alpha table, the biggest surprise belonged to Boom Esports when the representative of the Ascension 2024 runner -up showed overwhelming performance, winning all the teams in the table and entering the Play -off with a record of 5 wins – 0 losses. Behind Boom are two representatives of Korea – Drx and Geng. Drx is the second team (4 wins – 1 loss) and Geng ranked 3rd (3 wins – 2 losses).
Paper Rex has gone through the group stage very difficult to lose 3 consecutive games and almost eliminated from the play-off. However, F0rsaken and his teammates returned and won the last 2 matches to the top 8. Finally, Global Esports and Detonation Focusme were not highly appreciated.
Meanwhile, the Omega table is tense to the final matches when all 4 teams go on, T1, Talon, Nongshim Redforce, Rex Regum Qeon, which owns 3 wins – 2 losses. In particular, Rex Reum Qeon with Crazyguy showed an impressive performance, the 1-2 defeat against the Secret team in the last week could not stop the team at the top of the table.
Another representative from Southeast Asia, Talon, also showed impression with the “locomotive” of Primmie to win the second place. T1, after coming to the play-off, revealed many weaknesses and lost the last two matches, so ranked 3 in the group stage. In the end, NS Redforce faced many difficulties but still won the right to go on with the important match against the direct competition team Zeta Division.
The play-off VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 will take place from 26/4-11 May in the formula of the winning branch-the losing branch. The three strongest teams will represent the second international tournament in the year of Valorant – VCT Masters Toronto 2025 takes place in June in Canada.
