After three weeks of intense competition from 16/8-1-1, the 2024 PMSL Sea Fall tournament has officially closed the group stage. 24 teams competed fiercely in the Finals round and finally had 16 teams going on. In particular, Thai representatives dominated the rankings when they split the two leading positions, in turn belonging to Vampire Esports and Faze Clan.
For Vietnamese representatives, all 4 teams D'Chavier, Team Flash, Team Secret and Roy Esports have passed the group stage. This is also the first time in history, all 4 teams from Vietnam reached the Finals round, and the only country with enough representatives to appear in the championship round.
Team Secret is the best Vietnamese representative in the group stage this time when ranked 3rd with 120 points, only 3 points less than FaZe Clan ranked above. In this season, the Secret team is extremely excellent when all three weeks have reached the Super Sunday round, especially this team has nearly reached the top 1 week 2 when reaching 63 points, only less than Faze (64 points). With a breakthrough in the group stage, Team Secret will definitely be highly appreciated in the final round and ready to compete for the championship.
D'Chavier is the team that won the second highest score of Vietnam (85 points) and the 8th position on the rankings. However, the performance of Lamborghini and his teammates has decreased compared to the previous seasons. Although the first week won 50 points, in the remaining two weeks D'Chavier won only 35 points (17 points at week 2 and 18 points at week 3). However, D'Chavier is still a candidate for the championship as well as having a great opportunity to attend 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship due to the outstanding accumulated score.
Roy Esports is another Vietnamese representative that has completely broke this season. This team started very difficult at week 1 when only won 23 points at Super Sunday, then did not even get to the last day of the 2nd week. Roy's continuous efforts were really surprised and Silence and his teammates were ready to surprise in the final round.
Finally, the Flash team ranked 14th on the rankings with 64 points (31 points at week 2 and 33 points at week 3). Despite not playing well in the first week, Quang and his teammates tried to return in the next two weeks and won tickets to Finals. However, the biggest highlight of the Flash team in this group stage is the last period of week 3 when this team won 2 Top 1, 2 times the top 3, completely dominated the round with 144 points, more than Boom Esports (120 points).
The final round of 2024 PMSL Sea Fall will take place from September 6-8 at Kota Pahlawan, Surabaya, Indonesia. 16 teams will play 18 matches in 3 days, the team won the highest score will be the tournament champion, and with 4 teams behind to win tickets to attend 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship in December this year.
