Rookie was born in 1997 and is considered the best mid lane star in LPL. He started playing professionally in 2014 and joined KT Rolster Arrows Championship in the summer of 2014. After leaving KT Rolster Arrows, Rookie moved to China to compete and wear an Invictus Gaming from the 2015 season.
In 7 years (2550 days) wearing IG, Rookie won 6 Nest 2016, Nest 2017, Rift Rivals 2018, World Championship 2018, Demacia Cup Winter Cup 2018, LPL Spring 2019. Besides, Rookie and IG also won 3rd place in MSI 2019 and Worlds 2019.
