On September 10, Vietnam League of Legends flew to Korea to attend a friendly match before ASIAD 19. This is a friendly tournament of the National Team-League of Legends held at IBEX Studio (Gwangmyeong City, Kyunngi-Do Province, South Korea) with the participation of 3 teams from Vietnam, Korea and North China China.
Kespa organizes the tournament to create favorable conditions for countries and territories to attend the event to have the opportunity to rub, thereby assess the capacity, improve skills and prepare for ASIAD 19 and contribute to promoting culture and regional cooperation. The event also marked the first time Vietnam Electronic Sports participated in the international friendly tournament.
The component of Vietnam League of Legends does not have the service of Tran “Bie” to support Duc Hieu due to health problems. Accordingly, coach Le “Sofm” Quang Duy decided to “Kati” Thanh Phe to play in the support position that Bie left.
Due to the difference in qualifications, Vietnam League of Legends has lost 0-2 quickly against Korea. However, this is just a competency test as well as helping the Vietnamese League of Legends to get acquainted with the big stage before entering ASIAD 19.
At ASIAD 19, Vietnam League of Legends will play from the group stage with Korea, Taipei China … Meanwhile, 4 teams of Chinese Legends, Malaysia, India, Saudi Arabia are in the quarterfinals thanks to the results in Road to Asian Games 2022.
