This morning, the Vietnam Entertainment Electronic Sports Association (Viresa) announced the PUBG Mobile Vietnam team to attend ASIAD 19. Accordingly, 3 athletes Chu Trung Duc, Bui Xuan Truong and Huynh Trong Thien were replaced by Vu Hoang Hung, Nguyen Dinh Chien and Phan Van Dong. In addition, coach Nguyen Xuan Tuan is appointed to lead PUBG Mobile Vietnam.
Thus, the PUBG Mobile Vietnam team attended ASIAD 19 including 5 athletes Vu Hoang Hung (Lambor), Le Van Quang (Quang), Nguyen Dinh Chien (Parajin), Phan Van Dong (Levis), Nguyen Quoc Cuong (Gosuu) and coach Nguyen Xuan Tuan (GE).
ASIAD 19 is the first time Esports has been put into medal competition. This is also the first time PUBG Mobile has been on the list of Esports competitions. At the present time, PUBG Mobile is considered a strong and capable of bringing a medal to the Vietnamese sports delegation.
Esports at ASIAD 19 will take place from September 24 to October 2 at Hangzhou Electronic Sports Center. According to confirmation from the Organizing Committee, ASIAD 19 has 6 Esports competes including League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, Vuong Vuong Vinh Dieu, Dota2, Mong Tam Quoc 2, FIFA and Street Fighter V.
Chinese media said electronic sports were the only subject in Hangzhou with a random ticketing system. In addition, Esports in ASIAD 19 is expected to become one of the most popular events with the highest ticket price.
