At PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021, the Weekdays – Super Weekend round takes place in 4 weeks before walking to the Finals round. The number of teams participating in PMGC 2021 up to 40 teams, compared to last year is 24 teams. Because the number of participating teams increases, PMGC 2021 will change the competition format.
PMGC 2021 has a total bonus value of up to 6 million USD, with the participation of 40 most powerful PUBG Mobile teams in the world. This means that PMGC 2021 will become the largest event in PUBG Mobile Esports history. The leading teams in the eastern region, including the representative of PUBG Mobile Vietnam, D'Chavier will officially converge at PMGC 2021 from November 30.
The teams won the PMGC 2021 based on the total score of 2 seasons. To be eligible to attend, the teams will have to win championships in their area. Last year, PMGC 2020 witnessed the 24 best teams in the world compete for the championship and a prize of up to 2 million USD.
The competition format of the east and west are the same with the Weekday and Superweekend systems.
– Weekday: Erangel – Miramar – Erangel – Miramar – Erangel and Miramar – Erangel -Miramar – Erangel – Miramar.
– Superweekend: Erangel – Miramar – Erangel – Sanhok – Erangel.
At the end of the group stage, in the eastern area will select 9 teams with the highest score to the final round. In the western area, the top 6 teams passing the qualifying round will go to the final round. The final round will have a total of 16 teams attending, taking place from January 21 – 23, 2022 to find the world championship.
