PMSL Sea Summer 2024 takes place from 8/5 to 2/6 in Bangkok, Thailand. This is considered a new challenge on the treasure hunting process of the top 24 PUBG Mobile teams in Southeast Asia. In addition to the goal of finding the champion, 2024 PMSL Sea Summer is also a qualifying round to identify the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 tournament or beyond the opportunity to advance to PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024.
Participants attending PMSL Sea Summer 2024 remain the same as Spring, including 8 Indonesian teams (ID), 7 Malaysian teams (My), 5 Thai teams (TH) and 4 Vietnamese teams (VN). The representatives of Vietnam participated in the tournament including D'Chavier, Team Flash, Roy Esports and Team Secret, with the same goal of competing for the PMSL championship by the Indonesian Boom Esports team.
PMSL SEA SUMMER 2024 competition format continues to apply as Spring, divided into two specific stages as follows:
League Round (May 8 – May 26)
• 24 teams playing for 3 weeks, from Wednesday to Sunday
• Group Stage: Divided into 3 groups A – B – C and random draw in week 1. In week 2 and 3, the list of groups will divide in turn based on the total chart of the previous week.
• Top 8 teams with the highest score will go straight to Super Sunday while the remaining 16 teams enter Last Chance.
• Last Chance: take place every Saturday. The 16 teams from the top 9 – 24 of the Group Stage round will play 6 more matches to select the last 8 faces to Super Sunday.
• Super Sunday: Top 16 teams with the highest League from Super Sunday 3 weeks of League will win the ticket to the Finals round
Finals round (May 31 – June 2)
• 16 teams playing for 3 days, from Friday to Sunday
• The teams will receive the starting point of the Finals round based on the rankings in the League round
• The 5 teams with the highest achievement will win the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024
