The new 2022 season of WCS will have the participation of the teams participating in Southeast Asia Icon Series last season and the new teams have passed the qualifying round. 6 domestic tournaments in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore and Taipei China & Hong Kong (known as the WCS Masters) will take place under the BO3 format circle 2 times in the 5 weeks of the main season. The 6 teams with the best record in the group stage will enter the play -off round and play within 2 weeks according to the stream of the broken/losing branch, from April 1 to April 10.
The teams that win in the play -off round of the regional tournament will participate in WCS Finals – the final competition of the Asia -Pacific War. Accordingly, the four strongest teams WCS Finals will represent the Asia -Pacific region to attend the global championship Icons that takes place in Europe this summer.
A number of outstanding electronic sports organizations in the region have confirmed this year's WCS.
