The first week of the Icon Series Sea 2021 in Vietnam has ended with many surprises. Divine only won 1 single victory, while RSG defeated 0-3 against Cerberus. Saigon Phantom is leading the rankings of the first week with 2 victories and a difference of +5. Right after SGP is SBTC Esports (2 wins, 1 loss, difference +3), Team Flash, Cerberus and RSG.
In the opposite direction, Gamehome, although appreciated and owns the top player, is Lanh, but still ranks the table with 2 losses and the difference -3 difference.
In the second week, Gamehome will have the opportunity to cut off the losing series when confronting Ego, the team ranked above thanks to the difference. Meanwhile, the focal matches will be Saigon Phantom vs RSG, Divine vs Cerberus, RSG vs GameHome, Saigon Phantom vs SBTC Esports and Team Flash vs Cerberus.
SGP is showing impressive performance and owning 3 players who used to play professionally, Le “Gony” Hong Ny, Nguyen “Blake1” Viet Anh and Tran “Tisus” Anh Tuan. Similar to SPG, Cerberus and SBTC are also showing convincing performances with the service of the former League of Legends players, Quach “Fei” Dang Phi, Tran “Genza” Hong Phuc, Ho “Akeno” Trung Hau and Pham “Minas” Minh Phuoc. In other developments, the Flash team, although not owning a professional player, still won both matches of the first week.
RSG will have to accelerate in week 2 if you want to improve the position on the rankings. However, Nguyen Vu “PSMAN” Hoang Dung and his teammates will face a small challenge, when encountering Saigon Phantom and Gamehome.
