In the first match, G2 Esports did not face many difficulties to overcome the Gaming Lai Gaming (XLG) with a score of 2-0. The chosen maps are Icebox (XLG), Haven (G2) and Pearl. After a 0-2 defeat in the opening round against Paper Rex, G2 showed a complete overwhelming over the Chinese champion.
XLG faced a lot of difficulties when confronting the Sentinel (KillJoy & Sage) of G2 and let the American representative lead up to 10-2 in the first round. To the defense side, XLG won the sixth round but it was also the last victory of this team on the first map. G2 won the Eco round and did not miss the opportunity to win 13-3, taking the lead in the BO3 pair.

In the second match, CrazyGuy's Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) of Crazyguy confronted Fnatic (FNC) at three Lotus (FNC), Haven (RRQ) and Ascent maps. In the first map, RRQ chose to play attack and won the first 2 victories. However, FNC has quickly returned and continuously won points, creating a distance of 9-3. To the defense side, RRQ, despite gaining the Eco round victory but cannot narrow the score. FNC retains the distance and eventually won 13-5 on the first map.
In the Haven map, RRQ has returned very strongly. The two Duelist squad of Southeast Asia representatives quickly showed the effect on the attack side, overwhelming FNC with a distance of 10-2. Despite great efforts, FNC still cannot prevent RRQ from bringing the score to 1-1 with the result of 13-6.
However, in the final map of Ascent, RRQ no longer retains the form. The key members such as Jemkin, Monyet are low-shaped, RRQ quickly received 5-13 defeats, finalized 1-2 and was eliminated from VCT Masters Toronto 2025.
