These two capacity fall because the LJL area has merged into PCS, and the LEC & LCS area does not compete in the qualifying round to compete in the fourth place to attend the tournament. According to the results from MSI 2024, the LCK and LPL areas will have 4 attendees of the tournament, LEC and LCS have 3 capacity, PCS and VCS have 2 capacity and two South American & Brazil areas will have 1 capacity.

In terms of formula, 8 teams including Mad Lions, 100 Thieves, PSG Talon, Softbank Hawks, GAM ESPORTS, VIKINGS ESPORTS, PAIN GAMING and Rainbow7 will play in the Play-in. The teams will be divided into two tables of branches Thang – branch lost to find 4 teams into the Swiss round.

The World Championship 2024 will take place from September 25-2-2 in three European countries, Germany, England and France. The play-in and Swiss round play at Riot Games Arena, Berlin, Germany. The quarterfinals and semi -finals competed in Adidas Arena, Paris, France and the final at O2 Arena, London, England. The total bonus of the tournament is 2,225 million USD, of which the champion will receive 445,000 USD, equivalent to 20% of the tournament.
