– What do you think you can do better at the CCCC? Experience at World Worlds is different from the regional tournament?
I should have been able to prepare better, approach more experts and find different perspectives. I have tilted the Stvl generals too much while Vel'koz was my most convenient flag. Experience in the Conclusion Worlds is completely different from the regional tournament mainly due to the time zone difference. I had to adjust my sleep to wake up in midnight and sleep in the afternoon.
The event took place from 2 am to 6 am and I was really not used to this. All the tournaments in the area where I participate are starting in the afternoon. Therefore, my competition spirit is definitely not in the best state. Looking back at my matches at Worlds, there are mistakes that I will not make if I have a better spirit. I feel more worried than usual when playing at the CCCC.
The pace of the matches at the Conclusion Worlds is also very different from the regional tournament. My group has 4 Asian players and they rarely roll in the 3-2 round. They will not upgrade the squad in the middle of the match. Therefore, in round 2 and 3, their squad is often very weak. But by the fourth round, their squad will increase the power of sudden mutations and I cannot catch that pace. And as the result, I lost a lot of blood in the fourth round.
– Do you feel you can prepare well for this tournament? Or simply the tournament did not follow your will?
I am not prepared enough for this tournament. The main reason comes from changes in meta. Although I have tried many squads, but the fact in reality is not very expected. It is like you are repeating the same error. I should have contacted experts in that version and asked them to help.
During the preparation for the Conclusion Worlds, I fell from 1800 points (challenging) to 1000 points within 2 weeks. I did not play seriously and try new things. In fact, my play was quite outdated. And of course, I did not have luck at Worlds. But I can definitely get to the final if it is better prepared.
– How do you feel about Kled too “hegemony” at the CCCCC? For example, DeliciousMilk played Kled in all 5 matches in Group A. Do you think the tournament would be better if it did not “error” like that?
I think it is really bad to let Kled (General 1 Gold) in Worlds are really bad. When you fight with Kled, basically, you will be extremely strong in the middle of the match and win in most Round between the middle and the end of the match. I think this is really not good for meta.
– Among the 4 main regions (North America, Europe, South Korea, China), North America is the only region that has not yet brought the championship. As the top 1 North American player for a long time, do you think North America has enough opportunities to become the strongest area?
I think North America and Europe are still the two strongest areas. Huanmie and Qitux (2 Chinese players) are extremely good players, but I think Meta 4-1 also supported their play. I didn't think that I and Spencertft played well due to the time zone and DeliciousMilk became “Boy-One-Trick” with Kled. To be honest, I did not think the performance at the CCPC has shown all the power of North America.
– Quality is a unique electronic sport due to the change in nature. Does this make it difficult to become a professional player? Is competition in the quality of theCC?
I think what creates a good quality player is a good adaptation to all these changes. I admit that I am a slow -adaptive person with the new meta and that's why I can't go far at the CCP. This is what I will learn more and improve. I have imagined that I will play professional contacts for many years.
– Do you have any advice for those who are trying to become a professional quality player?
I will say, don't play theCM when you try to become a professional player. First of all, enjoy it and play a lot. After you really improve your qualifications and reach the top 1 in the ranking, you can think of becoming a professional dumpling player.
