Tran Nguyen Minh Nghi is the most famous MC of Vietnam Electronic Sports. Over the years, the MC born in 1996 has become famous for the Vietnamese League of Legends community thanks to her lovely appearance and inspirational voice.
The name of MC Minh Nghi even impressed the world's League of Legends community when MSI 2019 was held in Vietnam in May 2019. By the time the 2020 World Championship ended, Minh Nghi decided to leave the MC position of the League of Legends/Vetv to open a new chapter in his career with a speeding game.

– MC Minh Nghi: Hello readers of Thethao.vn. I am Minh Nghi – host/MC of Chien Chien in Vietnam. Previously, I used to be the MC of League of Legends. Today, Minh Nghi is very happy to be shared with everyone in this interview.
– Minh Nghi started pursuing the career of electronic sports MC?
– Minh Nghi started pursuing the career of electronic sports MC since 2014. It was the time when I had just graduated from grade 12 and wanted to try my own work in my life, so I was charming with electronic sports from there as an MC.
– Why did Minh suspected decided to switch to the battle speed? What predestined relationship brought you to this new electronic sport?
– If you follow me in recent years, people will know that they have been with the League of Legends for a long time. Then I saw my predestined relationship with League of Legends, so I decided to try the new game as the speed, on another platform is mobile.
The chance to bring Minh Nghi to the speed simply is that when the game I love appears on the phone version, I think there will be many interesting things.
– How does Minh Nghi's life change since he moved to speed?
– Since switching to speed, my life has changed quite a lot. During the last time, the speed of the battle to stop the beta and his work was not much. I only participated in the child warriors, so the work in the last period was quite gentle. I have a lot of time to rest, spend time with my family, for myself to learn and prepare to jump to a new turning point.
– What is Minh Nghi's current job? What have you prepared for the host/MC position of the Chien Chien?
– The current job of Minh Nghi with the speed is to participate in the management of electronic sports contents. As for the role of “Talent on Camera” (who stand in front of the camera – PV) of the tournament, I am currently host (the one who owns the stage – PV) and analysis.
Minh Nghi's current job is not much different. When working at League, I have to do the job of an editor, run a fanpage, plan the tournament content. Currently working at the battle, I still do the same tasks but more about management is a bit more. As for the role of “Talent on Camera”, I used to be an interview MC and now I am an analysis MC.
I don't need to be too much. I prepare for the information of the player, the teams. The latest one is often more about the squad of the teams participating in the tournament. The current version is also new, so I just need to make a new update, I will try and grasp. The work is also light, not too pressure.
Regarding the position of the MC and host of the speed, I did not face too much pressure because I had previously been the location of the LoL's analysis table, namely in international tournaments. Sang with the speed, I have to spend a lot of time to monitor the personnel of the teams. As for Meta, when there is a new update, I keep playing. I don't have too much pressure.
– At the time of switching to the speed of war, how long did Minh Nghi take to catch up with the job?
Minh Nghi personally thought that the time before working in the old position brought a great advantage for himself to start a new position in the current speed. Because I am doing the job too familiar. I just started to work with the speed of the war and did not take too much time to learn or catch up with the job.
– What are the difficulties in the first time you encounter?
– During the first time, I did not face too much difficulty. I enjoy with my current job.
When moving to a new electronic sport like speed, Minh Nghi felt pressure? So what is that pressure? How do you overcome the pressure?
When switching to new sports like the speed, the most pressure of himself and his teammates must develop this game because it is very new. Everyone in our team starts from zero. The battle is receiving the expectations of the player and many followers. Besides, the battle speed also has many competitors.
– After many years of pursuing eSports, what do you suspect and lose?
After many years of pursuing eSports, I have a lot of things. I develop my personal skills, expand the relationship very well and become a person who can be quicker, better adapt in high pressure working environments.
As for loss, the most loss is privacy. My person is a bit weird. Previously I really like to “show off” the quirky and I don't need anyone to sympathize. But when I became a noticeable person, I had to restrain those slightly weird things. The second thing I lost is that I don't have time for my family.
– At the moment Minh Nghi saw his work was on the right track compared to the original goal?
In fact, this electronic sports work has never been on the right goal. Because I personally always dreamed of becoming a content creator, a person who did not appear in front of the lens, did not pay too much attention. I like creativity, producing content around electronic sports more.
But when I returned to the battle, I could do what I like beside me to become an MC as everyone saw.
– Minh Nghi had many memories with League of Legends. When moving to the battle speed, have any moments of memorable for you?
– There are 2 moments that Minh Nghi misses. The first time was with the “speeding bus”, I appeared and everyone called my name a lot. It was a moment when I remembered that I was still very touched because I always thought people didn't watch me and just watched the prize. I appear in the tournament so people know Minh Nghi, not people like. Until leaving the place where they used to stick and do a new job, people still support. It was a great motivation for me.
The second memory was in the pre-season final, when RSG won 3-2 against Divine. At that time, we did not expect too much in the tournament. However, the playing spirit of RSG and Divine in the final has rekindled the eSports flame in itself.
– Many people think that when MC is just beauty. What do you think about this view?
– Minh Nghi thought that the MC position needs beauty. Beauty is a huge advantage for girls when working in front of the lens. But for an average beauty person like Minh Nghi, the factor that helps me go away at electronic sports tournaments is passion. Keep the passion of passion in you to go away at any electronic sport.
– How did Minh Nghi develop himself and the skills in the host/MC position?
– When I accepted the invitation to return to Vetv in 2018, I took the initiative to go to the MC course to overcome the limitations because I did not have to come from a professional MC.
Second, I also try to cultivate foreign languages. Hopefully, in the future, I can work in electronic sports in all 3 languages ​​Vietnamese, English and Trung. That is my goal.
– What is the future plan of Minh Nghi?
– My future plan is still developing personal skills that I have not done well. Doing well the job in my current position is the host of the analysis table, producing interesting eSports content. In particular, I will make international tournaments as much as possible.
– If someday, when leaving the position of the MC of Chien Chien, what would I think?
– If that day happens, do not worry, because your orientation will always be aiming for better things. Definitely when there are good chances of half, double that I can let go of the present. I am not the type of person who likes to change. When I have accepted the change and then there is no enough to hold on to me.
– So Minh Nghi thought that he would create the model in the host/MC role of the Chien Chien?
– Minh Nghi thinks that if people take his model as a host/MC, it will be a bit “corn” because he always feels in MC or professional skills, I always at 5-6 points only. Everyone tries to do their own ability. I always tried to be like that and did not take anyone as a model.
– How does Minh Nghi evaluate the development of the speed of war in Vietnam from the time of launch until now?
– Since its launch, the speed of war is in the process of growing very fast, especially in the electronic sports segment. If you have a monitoring, you can know the speed of war in recent times has created turning points in the competition format, the scale of the player. I hope the speed can grow in the near future.
– What is the advantage of the speed of fighting compared to other sports?
– For Minh Nghi, the advantage of the speed compared to other electronic sports is that it is built on the foundations of long -standing brothers, which is an almost become a traditional electronic sport.

– What difficulty do you have in the process of preparing for the SEA SEA SEA ICON SEA 2021?
– This is the first domestic tournament I and my brothers and sisters in the organizers. Of course, there will be problems because it's too new. We will try to solve as quickly as possible.
The first tournament is not perfect. Hopefully, you can give us suggestions so we can do better in the second half of the tournament and in the next tournament.
– What is the expectation of Minh Nghi's 2021 SEA SEA SERIES SECON?
– Regarding expectations, Minh Nghi only wants to do the best in his ability. Regarding the scale of the tournament, it must be thanks to the big brothers.
– What is the challenge with the Vietnam War at the present time?
The challenge with Vietnam's speed background at the present time is that this is a sporty game that is too new, so young, so the number of viewers is not high.
– What is the chance of Vietnam's speed at the upcoming 31st SEA Games?
Regarding the SEA Games, we are very happy to receive the information of the battle with both medal contents as male teammates and women's teammates. SEA Games 31 will be an opportunity to open the turning point of the battle. On the female teammate, this is the only subject to paint the gold medal. In the near future, we will focus a lot in female elements in electronic sports.
