– Congratulations to the Malaysian team with the last victory. As the coach, how do you evaluate the players' performance in the group stage?
First of all, we came to the 31st SEA Games after going through a WCS Finals season that was not very successful at home. We even have a series of consecutive losses up to 6 matches. Now we come to Vietnam and face the strongest squad of Thailand. They are even stronger and stronger than the previous confrontation because the Thai team has changed the squad before the SEA Games.
They are our opponent in the opening match. All we can do is try to learn from them to make appropriate adjustments. Then we had to face the Philippines. What makes me satisfied with the players is that we have adapted together quickly with everything even though we only have 5 or 10 minutes to meet everything. So, I think my team has done quite well, I hope everyone can learn as much as possible in the next half of the next day before the play-off round begins.
– The community highly appreciated the performance of the Malaysian team in the group stage. In your opinion, where is the strength of his team?
I think we communicate well with each other and people have interactions as well as goodness and harmony. Honestly, I do not often pay attention to the strengths of my team, because I am more interested in the weakness of the team. So now I cannot call the name of the players' strengths now. We still have too many limitations to improve.
– So what are the weaknesses of Malaysia, according to you?
I will start with the ban and start of every match. The choice of general use needs to be based on many factors, such as rationality, meta, update, confrontation rafters.
