Southeast Asia Riot Games will start the Challengers expansion qualifying round in this July, with a total of 16 teams attending, including: Vietnam (3 teams), Thailand (3), Indonesia (3 teams), Philippines (3 teams), Singapore – Malaysia (2 teams), Hong Kong – Taipei China (2 teams).
At Valorant Champions Tour: Reykjavík Stage 2 Masters took place in May, Riot Games Southeast Asia announced the place of Stage 3 Masters, Berlin, Germany. The Masters in Berlin will start on September 9, bringing together the 16 strongest teams in the world to compete and win the competition to enter Valorant Champions, also the last event of VCT 2021.

Play -off – Challengers Sea – VCT Stage 3?
The play-off round of Stage 3 Challengers will be extended for 2 weeks with more participating teams. Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam will have 3 representative teams attending the play-off round. While Singapore – Malaysia, Hong Kong – Taipei China will have 2 representative teams from each area. Opening in the first week will be the group stage of 4 groups (4 teams per group). The 2nd week will be the matches of 8 teams in the formula of the winning – branch.
The format of Week 1 will be a round of a BO2 round. The number of competition scores received will be calculated according to the match results. If the teams are equal to the point, the first factor to decide to rank will be the confrontation point of the map, followed by the confrontation point of the round, then the total point of the round. If it is not possible to rank based on the above factors, the two teams will confront a tie-break match on a single map. After that, the winning branch – the losing branch will be delineated after the 4th day of the group stage.
Two teams that win in the VCT Challengers Stage 3 player will represent Southeast Asia to attend Valorant Masters: Berlin and will have the opportunity to compete with the strongest teams in Valorant from North America, Brazil, USA Latin, Japan and South Korea.
