Fearx retains the two main black – yellow main colors of Liiv Sandbox. In particular, the X character stands for Fox, showing the meaning of “foxes of fear”.
In the opinion of the fans on the forums, the gold fox was chosen as a mascot in accordance with the nickname “sand storms”, meaningfully made fans excited with the non -fear and unstoppable play.
Before transferring to Fearx, LiiV Sandbox is owned by SBXG – a subsidiary of 4by4 electronic sports segment – and is based in Busan. Accordingly, the renaming to Fearx is also the end of the 'LiIV' brand name agreement with KB Kookmin Bank financial group.
The new brand Fearx will be used in all electronic sports that organized as League of Legends, FIFA, Kartrider: Drift and Rainbow Six Siege. Besides changing identity, Fearx will also launch a new squad to attend the LCK Spring 2024.
