After the AIC Organizing Committee 2022 decided to keep the No. 3 troops attending for three large areas (Vietnam, Thailand, Taipei China), KFC x Talon soon completed the mission to win tickets. Meanwhile, the reigning AIC champion, Buriram United Esports fell to the losing branch and had to “kill” with Valencia CF Esports for the remaining ticket.
In the “final” match for the 3rd ticket, Buriram took a lead 1-0 and 2-1 but Valencia also resiliently equalized before getting a victory in the fifth game of hinges. Buriram brought the match to game 7 decided, but they were not brave enough and let the opponent “roll the snow bridge” thoroughly the last game.
Losing the final 3-4, Buriram officially became a former King of AIC when this year's tournament was still not happening. On his personal page, the mid -line star Nunu, MVP of AIC 2021 could not hide the disappointment and admit the strength of Valencia.
In fact, Valencia is not appreciated when entering the AIC 2022 selection round because only ranked 6th at the Summer RPL 2022. However, “bats” have surpassed Evos (3-0), “phenomenon” Earena (3-1) and buried PSG of Firstone (3-0) before turning Buriram into former king.
With an impressive “climbing”, Valencia has become the third representative of the Thailand to compete in AIC 2022 next to Bacon Time and KFC x Talon. This is clearly the name that cannot be despised in the tournament in June.
