At the same time, the Publisher of League of Legends also shared that PCS, VCS and LJL tournaments will still be the ecosystem of the Asia -Pacific region. However, these tournaments will play the role of finding competitive teams to attend LCP in the next seasons, through promotion and relegation mechanisms.

Riot Games announced in the official article: “By creating the gap between LCP and domestic tournaments, we want to highlight talents, facilitate the ambitions of teams and players across the region. In the future, we set the goal of providing more widely access to the LCP by expanding the ecosystem beyond existing tournaments, maintaining the diversity and dynamism of the tournament.”
