In the latest announcement, Carlos Antunes, head of Riot Games's League of Legends Esports in the Americas, decided that the LCS LCS play-off round 2024 will still take place at Riot Games Arena due to the reduction of the number 'Roadshow' of the tournament and LLA (Latin American region).

Roadshow is the term used by Riot Games to symbolize the travel schedule to many different locations nationwide outside the fixed facilities. Previously, the 2023 LCS LCS final took place at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Carlos Antunes also revealed that the Summer LCS play-off round 2024 will be Roadshow. However, Riot Games said the decision not to organize the 2023 Spring Prize is the result of priority to invest in other areas of the tournament.
“We are following the processes of other regional tournaments in adjusting the number of roadshow sessions. When deciding how to allocate investment in the season, our goal is to prioritize what has the biggest impact on fans and players,” Carlos Antunes said.
“In 2024, we focused on innovating the experience, making the program more interesting than ever and honoring our best tournament.”
LCS is having a big change in the 2024 season. Accordingly, the scale of the tournament has decreased from 10 teams to 8. After the departure of Golden Guardians and Evil Geniuses, the tournament also drew the broadcast back to the weekend.
