The Pacific area has just played very successfully in the first international tournament of the year, Masters Bangkok 2025. Although the No. 1 seed of the region, the Drx, was soon eliminated in the Swiss round, T1 showed an impressive performance when defeating all 4 championship teams recently. In the final final, T1 was upstream to beat G2 Esports 3-2 to win the championship.
After the first Masters of the year, the teams will return to practice to prepare for the first official tournament of the year, with the Pacific area will be the VCT Pacific Stage 1 tournament 1 2025. The tournament will take place in more than 1 month, from 22/3-11, with the official play location of Sangam Colosseum, Seoul, South Korea.
According to the draw results, 12 teams participated in VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 with the results:
– Alpha table: Drx, Geng, Detonation Focusme, Paper Rex, Global Esports, Boom Esports
– Omega table: T1, Talon, Nongshim Redforce, Rex Regum Qeon, Zeta Division, Team Secret.
In terms of formula, the tournament will be divided into two stages: the group stage with 12 teams to divide 2 tables, the teams in the table will take turns in turn, select 4 teams each to attend the Play-off. At this point, the teams will continue to compete in the victory – branch to choose the 3 strongest teams to attend the second Masters in 2025 in Toronto, Canada.
A special feature of VCT Pacific Stage 1 comes from the division of the play-off ring. Accordingly, the two fourth teams of the two tables will come down from the losing branch, the 2nd -class teams of Alpha will fight the third team of the Omega table and vice versa. Finally, the first team will go straight to the semi -finals and have the opportunity to go straight to the finals of Thang branch.
All matches of the VCT Pacific Stage 1 2025 will be delineated by the BO3, except for the Losing branch final and the final will be the Bo5. The matches will be broadcast live on the official channels of VCT Pacific, in Vietnam will be Valorant Champions Tour Vietnam.
