MID-SEASON INVITATIONAL 2025 (MSI 2025) is the second international tournament of the year of professional League of Legends, held in Vancouver, Canada from 27/6-12/7. The tournament gathered 10 representatives from 5 areas: LCK, LPL, LCP, LEC, LTA. Different from previous years, in 2025, there were 3 official international awards held, whereby MSI 2025 pushed down to start at the end of June instead of taking place in mid -May.

In terms of formula, the MSI 2025 tournament is divided into two stages, temporarily called the play-in and Bracket rounds. In the Play -in round, 4 seed teams No. 2 will be divided into a bridge – branch losing to find two teams in the Bracket round. Because LCK is the international championship area at the beginning of the year, First Stand, both teams in this area will be in the Bracket round. At the Bracket round, 8 teams will continue to divide the pair of competition in the winning branch – the branch lost until the champion.
All matches of MSI 2025 will be delineated by the Bo5. The champion of MSI 2025 will win the right to attend the 2025 World Final, in case this team goes to the play-off of the third season. In addition, the two areas with the best results in the tournament will win the fourth rate to attend the last tournament of the year.
This year, the total prize for MSI 2025 was announced as US $ 2 million (about 51 billion VND). This figure is 8 times the total prize of MSI 2024, with 250 thousand USD (6.3 billion VBD). In last year's tournament, the champion was Gen.G Esports received only $ 50,000 (VND 1.25 billion). It is expected that this year, the bonus of the champion will reach $ 400,000, nearly equal to the bonus of the World Champion 2024.
