After nearly half a decade for Fnatic, Hylissang broke up with the team after Worlds 2022 ended. His next destination was Mad Lions, where the crazy lion built the squad around Elyoya.
Initially, many rumors said that Fnatic tried to buy Elyoya from Mad, FNC fans also expressed looking forward to the return of veteran gunner Rekkles. However, now when Rekkles almost officially returns to the black gold shirt, hylissang chose to leave.
Sang Divers played with Rekkles from Spring 2017 to the end of Worlds 2020. At Worlds in China, Fnatic only lacked 1 game to be able to eliminate Top Esports, they were released by Chinese representatives 3-2 to reach the semi-finals.
Hylissang & Mad Lions all attended the 2022 Worlds, Mad stopped at the starting round when the loss before EG and FNC also had only 2 victories in the group stage. In the new shirt Hylissang will pair with the Czech star – Carzzy. With Armut & Nisqy being said to stay, Mad has a relatively quality squad in the 2023 season.
