The 2024 PMGC tournament is the first time Getso Roy Esports attended a major international event in history. This is also the first time the player has filmed “xunoaz” to attend the biggest tournament of the year since the beginning of the professional competition. Finally, Roy Esports left the tournament in the Survival round and the 33rd place.

At the end of the Survival and Last Chance, Xunoaz attended the interview with Ithethao to share about the experience in the 2024 PMGC tournament.
Hello xunoaz, thank you for participating in the interview with Ithethao. Can you share your current emotions after returning from the 2024 PMGC League tournament in Malaysia?
Thank ITHETHAO for inviting us to participate in the interview. After returning from the 2024 PMGC tournament, we felt very proud and happy. Playing with the world's leading teams is a valuable experience, and although we have not achieved the desired achievement, we have learned a lot from the matches.
For the first time participating in a large international tournament like 2024 PMGC, you and the teammates in Roy have the pressure to show well when playing, wanting to bring about achievements in this tournament?
Certainly, the pressure is inevitable. Everyone in the team really wants to perform well, not only for themselves but also for the expectations of fans and organizations. However, the pressure also gives us more motivation to try and summarize the experience for the next time.
Although not for the first time playing abroad, this is also the first opportunity that Roy is shown in the largest PUBG Mobile tournament of the year – PMGC. What are the biggest differences between PMSL and PMGC, although also held in Southeast Asia?
The biggest difference between PMSL and PMGC we find is the scale and competitiveness. PMGC gathered top teams from around the world very strong and disciplined, leading to a very high level of competition. Each match is getting more and more tense and difficult, requiring us to focus and tactics better.
During this tournament, where do you feel the most difficult problem when playing? You and the whole team have to fix that problem?
One of the biggest difficulties we encounter is adapting to the speed and tactics of international teams. We have tried to overcome by reviewing the matches, analyzing their gameplay, and practicing the combined steps to improve the team performance.

Do you interact and get acquainted with foreign players at 2024 PMGC this time? Does Roy get acquainted or practice with the teams in the tournament, besides the Vietnamese teams?
Yes, we had the opportunity to interact with some international players. This not only helps us learn more new tactics but also create a good relationship in the gaming community. Roy also had friendly training sessions with your teams, which is really helpful for us to improve.
How do you judge the level of the teams attending 2024 PMGC, at least for the opponents who have encountered? Since then, how difficult you feel the heat from 2024 PMGC?
Each team at PMGC has its own strengths and very high levels. The heat of the tournament comes from each team wants to prove themselves and no one can easily take steps. We have felt this fierce competition through each match.
How do you judge about eating, accommodation and competition at the 2024 PMGC tournament? Have you visited Malaysia when you came to play this time and was impressed with what in this country when they were chosen as a host for the group stage 2024 PMGC?
Conditions for accommodation and competition are very good. We are well cared for and have enough amenities to prepare for the matches. Regarding Malaysia, the team had time to visit some of the most impressive and impressive places with a diverse culture and rich cuisine here. The people of this country are extremely friendly and enthusiastic.

From a personal point of view, how do you evaluate the competition format of 2024 PMGC? Does the competition for a long time and continuous weekly ways create difficulties/advantages for the team and can create any effects on the performance of the players?
The competition format is really suitable for creating dramatic and attractive, but also posing a big challenge for us. The continuous competition makes the team maintain high performance and endurance. We need to know how to manage health and psychology so as not to be affected.
How do you evaluate the current performance of Southeast Asia when there is only one representative of the region to the Finals round, Voin Donkey ID? In your opinion, where is the cause of the bad achievement of the area?
Although only one representative in the Finals round, I still believe that Southeast Asia is very strong and has great potential. The fact that only Voin Donkey ID may be due to difficulties in adapting to the gameplay of international teams, some teams do not have much experience in big tournaments or some of their preparation teams are not good. However, I believe we will learn and improve in the future.

Of the 16 teams to the Finals round, what do you think will be 3 candidates for the championship title? Why did you choose this team, what have they shown notably in the recent period?
I think the three bright candidates for the championship will be A7, Team Falcons and Navi. They have shown a stable performance and always know how to adjust the tactics in each match to overcome the challenge.
What do you think when the Grand Finals round will be held in London, the United Kingdom? If you attend, you imagine how you will have to prepare?
This is really interesting! London is a great place for a big tournament like 2024 PMGC. If I have the opportunity to attend, I will prepare carefully from tactics to psychology, and also learn about culture and people here to have the best experience.
What do you think when becoming a player with PUBG Mobile over the past time? In your opinion, where can this subject be honored in the top 4 popular global Esports subjects?
I feel proud to play PUBG Mobile, an eSports subject not only creates an opportunity for individuals but also connects people together. The success of PUBG Mobile comes from attractive gameplay, high competitiveness and a strong player community.

Returning to Vietnam after 2024 PMGC, what do you find you have learned in this international tournament? What is Roy's goal in the near future?
After returning from PMGC, I realized that I had learned a lot about the tactical thinking and operation of the world's leading teams. These valuable lessons will help Roy constantly develop. Our next goal is to improve skills, tactics and aim to win tickets to major tournaments in 2025.
