Getso Roy Esports (Groy) has just played the group stage of 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (referred to PMGC). With 116 points won, Groy ranked 10th on the total rankings of the Red table and won the right to play in the Survival round. Earlier, Groy left a lot of impression when he won the third place at 2024 PMSL Sea Fall recently.
Hello Getso Roy Esports and congratulations on completing the group stage of the 2024 PMGC. Currently, how are the teams from the team after the past week?
“We feel extremely excited and proud of what we have achieved in the group stage 2024 PMGC. Although sometimes having difficulty, the team has worked very hard and tried hard.”
This is also the first time Groy has played in a major international tournament like 2024 PMGC, how have you prepared to compete in the biggest tournament of PUBG Mobile Esports?
“Before the 2024 PMGC tournament, we had many training sessions to improve skills, tactics and coordination among members. This is very important for us to be confident to do well at the largest playground of PUBG Mobile Esports.”
Although unable to gain the right to the Finals round, Groy also performed very well when there was a time in the top 5 rankings. What are you most satisfied in the team after this group stage? Is there any point that you are not satisfied?
“We feel most satisfied with the team's determination and team spirit. However, there are still moments when we can improve, especially in making decisions in stressful situations.”
In your point of view, what is the most annoying opponent when you have to confront in the group stage? Is there anything you can learn from this team?
We have encountered many strong opponents in Group Red but perhaps the Navi team is the most annoying. From them, we have learned many lessons on how to apply effective tactics and the ability to respond quickly in each situation.
Roy really experienced an impressive “makeover”. From one of the teams at the end of the Spring and Summer tournament, Groy has progressed and reached the top 3 at 2024 PMSL Sea Fall. What do you feel the biggest change of the team throughout these three seasons? What made the team change so big?
“The biggest change of Getso Roy Esports is the improvement in tactical and psychological coordination. The team learned how to work together and adapt to different situations, thereby making strong steps.”
Last week, D'Xavier also sent greetings to both Groy and Team Secret. In the near future, you will reunite your compatriot in the Survival round, what do you want to send to Lamborghini and their players?
“We are looking forward to confronting our compatriots d'o's in the Survival round! Wish you play well and get into the Final round. Let's take the Vietnamese flag to the top of the world!”
