Hello Ruler, welcome to the interview after the match of Ithethao. First, congratulations on your victory and Gen.G before G2 Esports. How are you feeling now?
I am very happy, especially when this is the first time I played at MSI as a LCK player. The first match was also convenient, so I was very happy because of that.
This is your first match at MSI since the championship with JDG in 2023. The feeling of playing with JDG in 2023 is different from when playing for gene.g in 2025?
Of course, the language issue, communicating with Chinese players will naturally be more difficult compared to a Korean team.
You lost game 1 and let the opponent take the lead 1-0, but later came back and won 3-1. What happened in game 1, and Gen.G what did you exchange with each other between game 1 and game 2?
In the first game, our squad had to have the first advantages early but we did not do it properly. So due to the difference in the squad, we could not keep up with G2 and had to receive failures.
How does the feeling when playing with Hans Sama and Labrov like? Compared to the bottom line LCK 2025, what is the difference?
I think now, the areas seem to use the same path. Therefore, I could not say exactly any significant differences, we all tried to play strictly on the road.
In game 4, G2 has a rather unexpected choice, Dr.Mundo in the jungle position. Did you guess this option from G2, what did the team think about at that time to overcome this option?
We were quite surprised with the choice of Dr.Mundo but I thought there were many Gunner options to be able to defeat this champion. For me, Corki is the best choice. I chose this champion first but they still used Dr.Mundo, so for us, it was not a big deal.
If there is a chance, the Ruler uses new options such as Yasuo below like Furia or a magician like Ziggs at this MSI.?
I think Yasuo is a “bleaching” option but Ziggs is not, because this general has been popular for a long time, but Yasuo is definitely a unexpected choice. I can use Ziggs, but I am not sure about Yasuo.
After this match, you will meet the Winning team in the Anyone's Legend and Flyquest. How do you identify this match?
My point of view, this match will lean towards Anyone's Legend. However, I think Flyquest myself also has great potential. Therefore, the fighting situations will determine the results of this match.
In LCK, you have shown extremely overwhelming and is expected to be the No. 1 candidate for the MSI 2025 championship. Do you and Geng have any pressure when the team's winning chain is growing?
I also do not feel any pressure, moreover the more you win, the longer your preparation and rest will be. Therefore, victory is always better in all cases.
After MSI, you will immediately go to Saudi Arabia to play at the Esports World Cup, then return to Korea to play LCK from the 23rd. How do you feel about this schedule and have any methods to avoid Jet-Lag when you have to move for a long time and play continuously?
I can say that this schedule is very thick, anyway everything has been closed and we can't change anything. So I can only do my best. I don't usually get Jet-Lag, so it's not too serious. However, because the schedule was very thick, I was a little worried about keeping my own state well.
The last question, do you want to send anything to our fans in our country?
