After Worlds 2022, the eSports grams have made changes in the squad to become stronger for the next season. Not only the players, but the coaching staff also had many changes in this squad when Gam officially said goodbye to Captain Jackiewind after 2 years of accompanying.
Phan “Jackiewind” Huy Phong is the captain of GAM since 2020 and he has constantly led the team to the peak of VCS. The achievement in his domestic arena in 2 and a half years led that were 3 Vietnamese championships and twice ascended the runner -up.
Not only that, GAM ESPORTS is also a representative of Vietnam to attend the 31st SEA Games, the achievement of 10 matches to bring the gold medal for the national team with a significant impression of Jackiewind. Most recently, he has created the seismic more at the Worlds when he crumbles the top Esports – the No. 2 seed in China.
After parting with Jackiewind, the position of the coach of GAM is currently vacant. However, recently this organization has been upside down about recruiting a new teacher from abroad, in order to create a major change in thinking for the squad next year. Welcoming a foreign coach is a mandatory move to help GAM further at the international school.
