D'Chavier has just finished the journey at the 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship with 12th -class position in the Last Chance round, whereby it is impossible to attend the Finals round. D'Chavier is also the last team of Vietnam to leave the tournament when Team Secret was eliminated from the group stage and Roy Esports could not overcome the Survival.
After the tournament, Ithethao was interviewed with the captain of D'Chavier, Lamborghini to share the journey at 2024 PMGC recently.
Hello Lamborghini and thank you for participating in the interview with Ithethao, very regret that D'Xavier was unable to come to Grand Finals. Currently, how do you and your teammates look back at the mind?
With the bad ranking after the Last Chance, my team could not have the opportunity to come to the final round of 2024 PMGC. The whole team felt sad and quite regretful because of the lack of luck in a few moments but I saw this as a work item that the team could not complete well and will continue to practice so that the next time has better results.
How does Lamborghini evaluate his performance in this 2024 PMGC tournament? Is there anything you feel satisfied and dissatisfied with yourself for nearly 1 month of competition?
Currently, I am in my position as a captain, so the workload will be more than just a normal player. Of course, I still have a lot of shortcomings because I am quite young. In this position, it requires not only the understanding of the subjects they are playing but also in the team management skills, allocating jobs. I was just dissatisfied with myself, as mentioned above, because I still have many shortcomings.
Despite winning the top 1 position in the Survival round, to Last Chance, the team achieved the 12th place and had to leave the tournament. What difficulties did D'Xavier have in Last Chance?
In fact, the team was a bit subjective, so when starting the first matches in the Last Chance round, the team did not have a really good form. The team still thought that the matches would then remove the gauze but in the end, it was still unlucky.
This is also the 4th consecutive Lamborghini attending the PMGC tournament with D'Xavier. In your opinion, what is the special point of 2024 PMGC compared to the previous tournaments, on the size of the organization, the location and the teams participating in the event?
The most special thing of PMGC this year is the tournament held in London, the United Kingdom. It was only when I was traveling to him on the video but I found it very beautiful and many things to explore. In addition, the scale and organization of this year's tournament are also very different from the previous prizes. So unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to experience.
How do you and the whole team evaluate the organization, welcome and care for the teams at the 2024 PMGC tournament? Is there anything impressed by you?
Regarding the professionalism in the organization, there is nothing to argue. But the most special feature is the suggestions and desires of the team from the previous times always listened and supported by the organizers, so the team's competition experience in the tournament is getting better and better.
Besides the competition time, Lamborghini and the whole team did in the middle of the time without playing to keep their form?
Whether or not there is a schedule, every day my team always spends time for training and scrim to keep the best performance.
This time, D'Chavier has played with many strong teams in the world throughout the 3 stages of the tournament, which has been more than ½ of the teams participating in the teams that the teams have left the most impressive for Lamborghini and why?
The team impressed with its team, the most Falcons because before about 3 or 4 months, the teams did not appreciate their performance in the training sessions. But when in the tournament 2024 PMGC this time, Falcons showed a completely different face.
In international tournaments like PMGC, you and other players have to play for a long time and move continuously, the Last Chance also takes place right after the Survival round. Do you feel this is disadvantage and affect the performance of the teams attending?
Particularly for his D'Xavier team, this felt like a way to keep the pace and forge discipline habits in the living hours.
How does Lamborghini evaluate the current form of PMGC and whether there is any change in the future?
If I see, just raise the bonus is okay. (Laugh)
According to your assessment, where will be the 3 teams with the highest championship of 2024 PMGC? Do you have any specific reason for this option?
Firstly, I think that Team Spirit is because they are the team with the best score in the group stage. The second is A7 because of their stability in annual international tournaments. The third is Falcons because they currently have very high mutations.
What do you think when this year's tournament decides to organize Grand Finals in London – one of the famous locations of the international sports industry? What do you feel if you have the opportunity to play in London, the United Kingdom?
I think the decision to organize the Grand Finals in London will definitely be a choice to resonate the media. Because in 2024, London has hosted many large sports tournaments.
It would be an extremely unforgettable experience if I had the opportunity to play in London. Playing in a city with a long history of sports will create a feeling of both challenging and exciting.
