In the past, Doublelift had retired in November 2020, after the Solomid team could not pass the World Group Group of 2020. By 2023, Doublelift returned to professional competition and wear 100 Thieves.
For more than 1 decade of competition, the player in 1993 used to wear CLG, TSM, Liquid teams, 100 Thieves, 8 times to attend the World Final, win 8 LCS championships and 2 times to MSI. In the TSM shirt alone, Doublelift won 4 LCS championships and had 3 times attending Worlds. The best achievement in the international arena of Doublelift is the top 4 Worlds season 1 and the MSI runner -up 2019.
Doublelift said he would switch to creating content after retiring. Besides, he also admitted that the teams are cutting down spending so they will not be able to build the team with the opportunity to win the world, while this is his ultimate goal as a player.
