MSI 2024 will be held from May 1 – May 19 in Chengdu, China. The tournament will have the presence of 12 teams from 8 League of Legends region in the world.
Riot Games confirmed that MSI 2024 will take place at the Thanh Do Finance City Art Performing Center. This is not the first time the tournament has been held in China. However, MSI 2024 was the first time the capital hosted the tournament.
LPL areas (China), LCK (South Korea), LCS (North America) and LEC (Europe) will have 2 teams participating in MSI 2024. Meanwhile, LLA (Latin America), CBLOL (Brazil), PCS (Asia – Pacific) and VCS (Vietnam) have only 1 capacity.
