Deft joins KT Rolster in the form of free transfer. Deft's contract term with KT Rolster is said to be 1 year. After the end of the 2024 season, Deft is likely to set out for the mandatory military service of Korea.
In the past, Deft used to wear KT Rolster in the period of 2016-2018, won two Kespa Cup 2017 championships, LCK in the summer of 2018 and reached the quarterfinals of Worlds 2018.
Accordingly, Deft also owns the LCK Spring 2014, Demacia Cup Spring 2015, LPL Spring 2015, MSI 2015, Demacia Cup Summer 2015, Demacia Cup Cup 2015, LPL Summer 2016, Demacia Cup 2016, Rift Rivals 2019 and World Final 2022.
In the last 2023 season, Deft and DK did not win any titles. At Worlds 2023, DK also only ranked in the top 9 after not being able to overcome the Swiss format. Meanwhile, KT Rolster has a better achievement when ranked 3rd at LCK Spring & Summer 2023, and ranked Top 5 in Worlds 2023.
