The Cloud9 squad participated in VCT 2024 including Vanity, Maxim 'Wippie' Shepelev, Francis 'Oxygen' Hoang, Jake 'Jakee' Anderson and Erick 'XePpaa' Bach. Lead Cloud9 in the VCT 2024 season, the head coach, Ian 'Immi' Harding.
Currently, the contracts of all 5 players and coach Immi have a period until the end of the 2026 season. Previously, after the failure in the 2023 season, C9 said goodbye to Leaf, Qpert, Zellsis, Runi, coach MCE only kept XakePa and Jakee.
In the 2023 season, C9 ended the VCT Americas League 2023 in the 4th place. However, C9 was unable to win tickets to attend VCT Masters Tokyo 2023, Valorant Champions 2023 and the final qualifier in North America.
The transfer window VCT 2024 was opened on September 11, 2023 and will be closed on July 15, 2024. With an almost extended transfer time until the Valorant Champions 2024, the teams will be able to make changes based on the happenings of the season. This will improve the level of competition and avoid the situation of “premature death” teams.
