Recently, ESC published a report on the Chinese electronic sports industry in 2024, highlighting the growth in the field of electronic sports. The report was published on December 11 at the annual conference of China's electronic sports industry in Beijing, China.

At the Conference, the Chairman of Gia Quan Tang Sports Committee shared a comprehensive overview of China's electronic sports industry, sharing the main figures such as revenue, user size and the number of events. Accordingly, the revenue from electronic sports in China in 2024 reached 27.568 billion yuan (about 2.97 billion pounds), an increase of 4.62% compared to 2023.

Notably, the number of players of electronic sports is still very high when reaching 490 million users, up 0.42% compared to last year. The most common subjects include shooting such as CS2, Valorant (accounting for 26.1%of players), MOBA such as Dota2, League of Legends, Vuong Vuong Vinh Dieu (15.2%) and sports simulation game, the most typical is FC Online (12.0%).

In addition, mobile games are growing more and more when accounting for 57.6% of the market with typical representatives of PUBG Mobile and Vuong Gia Vinh Dieu.
