Competition format
Start round
At the starting round, 5 teams from the Wild Rift Champions Sea and Wild Rift Oceania Championships (the teams came second from the WCS Masters, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, and the Wild Rift Oceania Championships) will compete in a circle with BO2 format.
The head of the boot round will win tickets directly into the play-off round. The 2nd and 3rd teams will confront each other in the form of the Bo5 format to win the remaining.
Play-off round
In the Play -off round, 8 teams will be divided into 2 tables, each table 4 teams, competing in the formula of the branch – branch losing. The first group includes WCS Masters, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The other group includes champions of Malaysia & Singapore, Indonesia and two teams from the starting round. The first team teams will conduct a draw to confront the second team teams. Accordingly, teams in the same area will not meet at the play-off.

Second opportunity
The first teams to win the first play-off will enter the next round on the winning branch, while the failed team will fall to the losing branch. All matches will take place in the Bo5 format, while the finals and the finals will be delineated by the Bo7. Any team that drops from the winning branch will have another chance to attend the final by winning all the remaining matches under the losing branch. The total prize value of the WCS Finals 2022 is up to 200,000 USD. Accordingly, the top 4 teams WCS Finals 2022 will represent Southeast Asia to attend the speeding Icons Global Championship will take place in Europe in the summer of 2022.
