In AIC 2022, the Vietnamese area has only one representative after Saigon Phantom and Team Flash stopped but V Gaming excelled in the semi -finals. The knockout round starts from June 23 on the formula of the winning branch – the branch losing, giving each team at least 2 chances. Even so, competition is still very large.
On June 26, the two quarterfinals will take place to identify two names connecting V Gaming with One Team in the top 4. The first match took place at 12:00 am BikibIPIA Esports vs Valencia CF Esports, two teams considered to be “O Ox” in AIC 2022.
Then the “civil war” Thailand KFC x Talon vs Bacon Time. This is also the match that recreated the Summer RPL finals 2022 in which, Bacon Time has taken over the KFC X Talon. In terms of performance at AIC 2022, KFC x Talon is better, but Bacon Time is still a name that cannot be despised as the RPL champion.
The knockout round will include the quarterfinals (from June 23 to June 26) and the semi -finals (from July 2 to July 3). The top 4 teams from the group stage will be divided into 4 different pairs to play the first match of the quarterfinals. They will confront teams with the second highest score of each table from the group stage randomly through the quarterfinal draw.
The matches will be played in the formula of the branch. The losing teams will be moved down, where they will play with other losing teams. The first round of the quarterfinals will be played according to the Bo5 format, while the next match will play in the Bo7 format. The last 2 teams overcome all the remaining opponents will meet again in the final on July 10 to compete for the title of the championship.
