After V Gaming lost to Deep Cross Gaming, GG Live became the next Vietnamese representative to play on the opening day of AIC 2023, with the opponent of the No. 3 seed of Thailand B Esports X Hydra. Notably, this is also a match that marks the launch of the Super Rookie, ADC in the GG Live shirt.
In game 1, GGL has Aya but surprised to use the squad with Eland'rr to the forest and let HoangTĐ beat Tulen at the Rong Road. However, this tactic does not really work. After 17 minutes of struggling, HoangTĐ had an odd situation, resulting in the fact that two teammates were lying. BHD did not miss the opportunity, immediately wiped it up and took the game.
